  The last day of term is Friday 18th December, the school will open on that day, see letter under newsletters for details of how the school will need to continue with Track and Trace until Christmas Eve. 

• Severe weather procedure

  Just a reminder of the severe weather procedure in case of snow as we go into winter.

   

  Arrangements for severe weather and potential school closure

   

  In the unlikely event of severe weather (snow) which means that the school needs to close, the following will happen:

   

  • The scrolling bar of the website will say 'School closed' and give the date.
  • The Office will send an email to all parents via parentmail to say the school is closed.
  • The Suffolk School Closures website will be updated with the closure information

  From this, the radio and local press will provide updates.

  Please don't contact radio stations or the school directly, there may be no-one at school to take the call and all the information will be on the above forms of communication.

   

  We will make every effort to stay open but there are times when schools need to close partly because many of the staff live in outlying areas and it would not be safe for them to travel to work especially if the police advise against travel.
