09.01.2019 - Exploring division by solving problems using grouping
RE - Diwail Celebrations - 17.10.2019
In RE we have been learning about different religious celebrations and have focused our learning on Diwali which occurs at the end of this month. We made our own Rangoli art patterns and and then created our own clay Diya lamps for the celebration.
English - Following instructions - 26.09.2019
Using our Power of reading story 'Ossiri and the Bala Mengro', we followed instructions to create our own music shakers. Next week we will be writing our own instructions to help others make their own.
PE - Games and skills - 12.09.2019
We had great fun working together playing the 'rods and fish' game. We practiced our throwing skills and accuracy using different equipment. Also we began to discuss tactics on how to score the most points.
English - Letter writing - 19.09.2019
In English our learning is currently based around a book called 'Ossiri and the Bala Mengro'.
Ossiri is a child from a travelling family and desperately wants to play an instrument. However her father tells her this is not possible.
The children have written letters to Ossiri with some ideas of what she could next. Here are a few:
