Welcome back!

Hello everyone,

I hope you have all had a good Easter and enjoyed looking at Charlie Bear's Easter holiday on Tapestry. Please find below the weekly plan. I will be contactable via Tapestry and will be sending you all a message very shortly. I have tried to keep the activities short and as practical as possible. There are lots of outdoor activities to try, so just have fun and do what you can. Please do not worry if you are not able to complete all the activities in one day. The most important thing is that you stay safe and keep smiling :)

Hello Reception and welcome to your home learning page!

Hello everyone! Thank you for visiting our home learning page which I will be updating with links and ideas to help you with your learning at home. Currently you have extra reading books and your home learning packs to complete which contain a variety of learning. You can also visit our homework page which still has ideas of home learning activities and the children's transport project.

Thursday 2nd April 2020

Good afternoon everyone.

We have made it to the end of the Spring term and the Easter holidays are now upon us. I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish you all a 'Happy Easter' and I hope you have lots of fun, whatever you do. I have been missing you all and I cannot wait until we can all be back together.

Keep smiling and I look forward to speaking to you in a couple of weeks time.

Tuesday 31st March 2020

Hello everyone, I hope your week has started well.  This week I had planned an 'Easter' day for the children which was going to involve us, learning the Easter story and then doing some fun games and activities associated with Easter.  We were going to make Easter cards, boxes, hats and then have a competition of designing an Easter egg and an Easter hat.  So the children don't miss out on this opportunity, I have added a tab below, with lots of different ideas and activities that you may wish to try at home.  Why not have a go at making your own Easter cards and then practise writing your own messages inside. Or have a go at designing your own Easter hat or basket. We love doing our 'Easter' day each year, so please send us any pictures of your creations on Tapestry.

Have fun and keep busy! :)

Monday 30th March 2020

Good Morning Reception, I hope you all had a good weekend and managed to get outside where you could. You should still have lots to be getting on with in your home learning packs, but if you want something different, try visiting some of the websites at the bottom of this page.  At the moment the weather is nice, make the most of it while you can! Maybe try building a den? See what materials you can find to help you, once you have made one den, try making another of a different size or shape. We love den building in our garden at School and seeing how many people we can squeeze in!

Have a great day everyone.

Miss Carr :)

Friday 27th March 2020

It's Friday!!!! Miss Carr's favourite day of the week (as I'm sure the children will tell you) and we still have the lovely sunshine, perfect for lots of outdoor fun!

Children, well done for your first week of learning at home. I hope you have been getting on well with your home learning packs and been giving things a go! I'm really missing you all, but keep smiling and having fun just like we do in School everyday.

Parents, you have survived week one!! Thank you for everything you have done this week to keep your child's learning going at this tricky time. Thank you for all the lovely messages and pictures on Tapestry, these have been fantastic to see.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend, take care and keep safe everyone.

Wednesday 25th March 2020

I hope the first few days of home learning have been going well and that you have been enjoying the sunshine as much as you can.

Thank you to those who have been sharing on Tapestry what you have been doing at home. It has been great to see and lovely to see the children so enthusiastic about their learning, especially at this difficult time. Please continue to use Tapestry to share what you have been doing, we would love to see!

I have added some extra documents at the bottom of this page, of different activities that can be done outside whilst we have this lovely weather!  Also I have added some extra websites for ideas of different games and activities. As I find different things, I will keep adding them to this page.

I look forward to hearing all about your learning and finding out what you have been up to soon.

Have fun and keep smiling! :)
