As the maths revision tasks may only take a short while this week, I have tried to make English activities that require a larger amount of reading/writing time. Please don't be concerned if your child takes a while to complete them, or indeed takes a few days to fully plan and write; they are larger tasks than usual!

Additional info; 

This week, White Rose have switched from covering new content, to providing 4 revision lessons. As I have already taught these lessons, for this week I won't do any 'hints and tips' videos on dojo. The children should have enough knowledge to at least have a go, especially after watching the White Rose clip! Instead, I have found some 'Classroom Secrets Kids' resources that match up to the White Rose lessons really well.

 

To access these resources;

Log in to your child's Classroom Secrets Kids account - https://kids.classroomsecrets.co.uk/

username = 140616 then first 3 letters of first and surname, e.g. Benjamin Smith would be 140616bensmi

password = ebps

 

Then click the Year 5 tab and go to 'Maths', then select 'Video tutorials'. You should see that the first 4 tutorials which appear match directly to each of the White Rose revision lessons this week, if your child would like further support :) 

 

Within the 'Maths games' section, there are also games relating directly to each of the revision lessons, although these can only be found by scrolling through the pages as they are not so conveniently organised!
