    Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

    We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team for four days per week (08:45 – 15:20). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development and who wants to play a key role in helping all pupils achieve their full potential.

    About the Role

    As an LSA, you will:

    • Work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to support pupils with a range of needs

    • Provide targeted support to individuals or small groups, helping to deliver interventions and adapted learning

    • Build positive relationships with pupils to develop confidence, engagement and independence

    • Support the creation of a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment

    • Contribute to assessment and progress monitoring through observations and feedback


    We Are Looking For Someone Who:

    • Is proactive and takes initiative in supporting learning

    • Has a strong work ethic and is committed, reliable and willing to contribute fully to school life

    • Has a positive, nurturing approach with children of all abilities and backgrounds

    • Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills

    • Is patient, flexible and resilient, with a good sense of humour

    • Is committed to inclusion and believes in every child’s potential

    • Is keen to grow and develop professionally as part of a supportive team

    • Has appropriate literacy and maths qualifications (or equivalent)

    Experience working in schools or with children with additional needs is desirable but not essential – training will be provided for the right candidate.
