Pupil Voice Class Council

Pupil Voice Class Council – A Great Start!

Today we held our very first Pupil Voice Class Council, a new and exciting way for us to gather and share pupil voice at East Bergholt CEVC Primary School. Children met in mixed-age groups to think deeply and talk together about the question: “Do lessons help you think hard and try more challenging work?”

Our Year 6 pupils took on roles of responsibility, confidently collecting younger children and helping everyone to get to the right classrooms. Ambassadors and Faith Councillors did a fantastic job facilitating discussions and taking minutes, ensuring everyone’s views were heard and valued.

The conversations were thoughtful, respectful and full of insight, showing how well our children reflect on their learning and support one another. We were incredibly proud of how well the children did – a brilliant start to something we’re excited to grow!
