Our Church School Partnership

Our Church school is linked with St Mary's Church in East Bergholt. We enjoy many links and regularly visit the church for special festivals and services. Members of the Church come into school each week to take assembly for us.

Members of the Church also come into school to deliver, 'Open the Book' assemblies. These special assemblies offer our pupils an opportunity to hear key Bible stories told by a team of Christians, from St. Mary's Church, who present the stories. The team dress up and also encourage our pupils to dress up and take part. Each presentation takes around 10–15 minutes and is incorporated into the school's wider assembly that day.

We were very fortunate to have Rev Steph join us this week for a semi-virtual Christingle service. Our year 6 class were in the hall with the Christingles singing. Our Reception class were also in the hall watching and performed their Christmas dance. The rest of the school were watching in their classroom via Zoom. Thank you Rev Steph.
