Today, the school has been buzzing with the sound of drums as Matisse visited to deliver exciting Samba drumming workshops for all the children! From the moment the first beat echoed through the hall, the whole school came alive with rhythm, energy and huge smiles.

Pupils have been learning how to keep a steady beat, work together as a team and create exciting musical performances using authentic Samba instruments. The workshops have been full of laughter, concentration and confidence-building, with every child getting the chance to join in and feel like part of a real Samba band. The powerful rhythms could be heard all around the school, creating a fantastic atmosphere of fun and learning!
