Taking Part

Taking Part

A scheme to reward consistent positive behaviour

What is Taking Part?

The scheme consists of 4 elements

Positive attitudes.
Active friendships.
Respect for people and property
Trying hard

The scheme will replace the choosing of prefects each half term.

How will it work?

Each element will be worked on separately.

Success in each element will be recognised by a certificate at the end of term.

Teachers and teaching assistants will give ‘evidence’ to decide if a certificate/badge has been earned.

Success in all 4 elements is recognised with a special badge.

The elements are repeated as the child goes through the school, with the expectation that success will be achieved at a higher level.

          4 certificates -> a silver badge -> 4 certificates -> a gold badge -> 4 certificates -> Prefect

How soon could children gain certificates and badges?
