HOME SCHOOL AGREEMENT
The parents/guardians
I/we will try to:
- ensure that my child arrives for school on time and
attends regularly;
- support the school over school uniform;
- contact the school by 9.30am if my child is absent and
provide a note on their return;
- support the behaviour policy of the school;
- attend parents' evenings;
- let the school know of any concerns or problems that
might affect my child's work or behaviour;
- encourage my child to fully involve themselves in all
aspects of school life;
- support my child in homework and regularly read with
them;
- avoid taking holidays in term time.
The School
The School will try to:
- care for your child's safety and happiness;
- provide a curriculum that is broad and balanced and
that meets legal requirements;
- provide regular opportunities for your child's progress
to be reported upon;
- contact parents if there is a problem with attendance,
punctuality, work or behaviour;
- keep parents informed of general school matters;
- offer parents the opportunity to involve themselves in
school life;
- set and monitor homework and provide opportunities for
extra study.
The Pupil
I shall try to:
- attend regularly and on time;
- wear the school uniform correctly;
- be prepared for all of my lessons;
- keep all of my school and homework up to date;
- behave in an acceptable way, following school codes of
behaviour;
- ensure that I deliver school letters to my
parents/guardian.
